Who To Blame

It has been said many times and many places that blame for deaths while raiding (and sometimes the associated wipe) can be assigned thusly:

- If a tank dies, it's the healer's fault.
- If a healer dies, it's the tank's fault.
- If DPS dies, it's their own fault.

While this is normally a good rule to follow, there are of course exceptions.

- If a tank dies and has cooldowns available, it's the tank's fault
- If a healer dies from failure to self-heal (esp when standing in AoE), it's their fault
- If DPS dies because the tank is not putting out enough threat, it's still their fault
